I met Angie at a social gathering late last year for the first time. I was immediately drawn to her energy and the many topics we had in common. I asked her to be a guest speaker at one of our support group gatherings for people living with the progressive disease, pulmonary hypertension. She came along to our first gathering of the year on Tuesday Feb 20th.
I have to say Angie is the most refreshing guest speaker and generally person, to have attend a gathering. She came early and set up but then she greeted and chatted to our members as they arrived. This is something none of our guest speakers have ever done and a lot of them are from the health industry who work directly with patients and carers. I was really impressed. I didn’t have to worry about her once, she just fitted in beautifully. She made everyone comfortable and relaxed, she has a great sense of humour and a lovely demeanour that made her very relatable. I wondered at first how our members would respond to the subject matter, but they embraced it fully and we had some interesting and lively exchanges.
Her presentation is absolutely beautiful. Easy to follow, interesting and the graphics make you feel all warm and fuzzy while getting their message across. Everyone loved the little “Quote Cards” they got to choose and keep. We are very impressed with Angie and we will be working with her again in the future on other projects that she will be able to contribute to. As a non profit she was more than willing to come along and speak for free. Her services are valuable and I would encourage you to see how she can help you in your world.
Warmly Melissa Dumitru CEO PHNA
